How it all started
Sprinkled & Sugared Bakery was born out of a love and passion for baking. I grew up baking with my mom and grandmother, who have passed down their own recipes to me.
When I am baking, I am in my happy place, and I feel like all things are possible. The whole process, from selecting the ingredients to the beautiful final baked product, is where I thrive. There's something truly magical about combining different ingredients, seeing them transform through baking, and creating something that not only delights the taste buds but also warms the soul. The precision of measurements, the artistry of mixing and folding, and the anticipation as the aromas waft through the kitchen all contribute to the joy that baking brings into my life. From the moment I preheat the oven to the satisfying sound of a perfectly baked crust, every step along the way is an opportunity to express creativity and bring happiness to others through the simple act of sharing a homemade treat. Whether I am sharing my baked goods with friends, family, selling my baked goods at my local farmers market, or donating them to my local food bank, baking always finds a way to connect us all.
Time for something new
After working in corporate for 10 years and being miserable, on top of that, I was physically injured from living that lifestyle, I decided to follow my passion for baking and start Sprinkled & Sugared Bakery.
I also wanted to create this blog to share my passion. I want to help everyone be able to bake simple and timeless recipes for their friends and families.
