Hot Fudge Sauce
Is there any better way to make an ice cream sundae than with hot fudge? The rich, velvety texture of the hot fudge drizzled over the cold, creamy ice cream creates a delightful contrast that is simply irresistible.

Evaporated milk

Cocoa Powder

Granulated sugar

For Extra Thick Sauce

Corn Starch

Teaspoon
Milk
Instructions
In a medium sized saucepan. combine all ingredients except the slurry ingredients.
Cook over medium-low heat, stirring constantly.
Cook until the mixture is smooth.
This will take several minutes.
Once the sugar is dissolved and the mixture is not grainy, remove from the heat.
The sauce will thicken as it cools.
Optional slurry
If you would like the sauce to be even thicker make the slurry.
In a small bowl, combine the corn starch and milk.
Whisk together until smooth.
Then stir mixture into the room temperature chocolate sauce.
Once the mixture has cooled to room temperature, pour over ice cream and enjoy!
Notes
This sauce is best served warm.
Do not be alarmed if the sauce hardens in the refrigerator. Just simply reheat the sauce in the microwave to enjoy it again.
